Hospice Aide

Job Summary:
A trained, certified, para-professional, who is prepared to assist professional clinical providers (RN or Therapist) in the care of the patient in the home and provides direct home and personal care services for the sick and/or disabled according to the plan of care. The duties of the Home Health Aide/HCA III are planned and assigned by the professional clinical provider to meet the patient and caregiver's needs. The Home Health Aide/HCA III is not a substitute for the professional clinical provider, but he/she may perform patient care under the direct supervision of the professional clinical provider.
Good communication skills, which includes ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language effectively. Demonstrates satisfactory compliance with State and Federal Requirements for Home Health Aide/HCA III competency. Must demonstrate maturity and ability to deal effectively with issues related to delivery of services. Must be able to drive/or use public transportation to patients' homes

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
