Private Duty Homemaker

Job Summary:
An individual who performs routine household tasks and companionship, to any and all Agency patients according to the plan of care. The duties of the Homemaker/HCA I are planned and assigned by the professional clinical provider to meet the patient and caregiver's needs.
Must have experience in home management and performance of household tasks, including the purchasing of food and preparation of meals. Good communication skills, which include ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language effectively. Must demonstrate maturity and ability to deal effectively with issues related to delivery of services. Must be able to drive/or use public transportation to patients' homes.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
