Social Worker - Hospice

Identifies psychosocial issues as they relate to the terminal illness of the client and family. Provides direct care and consultation to clients, families and the Hospice Team. This includes counseling and the seeking of resources to answer unmet needs. The Hospice Social Worker also provides consultation services and in-service education programs related to the psychosocial aspects of healthcare to other professional staff members in the healthcare team. Assists in the development of policies and procedures for the provision of Hospice services, and assists with Hospice Bereavement Program.
Master's Degree from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education preferred. At least two (2) years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred. LCSW or LICSW required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
