Marketing Manager, Federal

Reporting to the Director or Product & Industry Marketing, the Federal Marketing Manager will contribute to the company's growth objectives through the development and execution of strategic and tactical marketing initiatives to support Gordian's Federal products and solutions. This role is directly responsible for the positioning and campaign strategy for the entire suite of Gordian solutions to identified Federal target markets and personas, and is responsible for planning, organizing and executing programs that generate new prospects and advance existing opportunities for the sales team. This role will develop, execute and measure campaign focused marketing plans and lead generation programs including both inbound and outbound tactics.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for marketing efforts for all Gordian products to the Federal vertical:
Develop the strategy and manage marketing programs and sales support that drive demand for Federal products
In conjunction with extended marketing team, create and execute integrated marketing plans to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, demand creation and lead generation for the Federal vertical
Manage Federal-specific lead gen opportunities and strategy (associations, trade shows, webinars, digital, etc.)
Coordinate with Content team to ensure Federal messaging is included in marketing efforts and all customer touch points in a consistent and impactful way
Develop and maintain demand generation marketing calendar
Plan, execute and track Marketing efforts:
Campaign setup in marketing systems and tools, including Marketo and Salesforce
Monitor campaigns and their effectiveness, providing recommendations for testing, optimization and future enhancements
Define appropriate marketing activity and KPI metrics at the campaign, program, and industry level; and monitor and report performance to company leadership
Serve as main Marketing point of contact for Federal sales and product teams:
Provide sales enablement for the Federal sales teams to assist in converting leads
Manage Federal-specific marketing lead funnel and work with sales teams to manage lead volume and velocity
Serve as main Marketing point of contact for Federal Product Manager, understanding product road map and identifying marketing needs and opportunities
Serve as Marketing subject matter expert for Federal industry:
Assist in defining industry buyer personas and voice of the customer
Keep up-to-date with industry and competitive landscape
Understand the product buyer journey and identify and capitalize on customer retention and satisfaction opportunities
Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field from accredited institution; or equivalent professional experience
5+ years' experience in marketing discipline preferred and experience in Federal Industry required
Ability to create and manage multiple types of projects and priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
The ideal candidate is analytical and results-driven and has experience in strategic planning, execution and tracking success of projects and plans
Proven ability to solve problems, handle conflict, anticipate issues/concerns, troubleshoot problems, and proactively institute creative solutions quickly and thoroughly but with detail
Ability to operate autonomously in pursuit of established objectives
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-growth company environment
Experience in working effectively in cross-functional teams to meet established objectives
Proven experience working with sales teams and supporting programs to drive awareness and sales
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite tools like Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Other remote locations are an option dependent on experience and qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
