Elevate Technology Solutions, an IT professional services provider, is currently accepting resumes for the role of HR/Operations Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to jumpstart a career in HR, while assisting with operational functions critical to the growth of an innovative and exciting firm. This multi-faceted individual will have oversight for all aspects of human resources administration, to include the administration of the corporation's policies, guidelines and programs regarding employees. Additionally, the hybrid position will include administrative and operational responsibilities performed under the direction of the Director of Finance and Operations.

The Human Resources / Operations Assistant will be responsible for the following:
Human Resources Management
Employee Contracts Processing/Onboarding
Track all contract documents for accuracy
Verify completion of document execution
Run background investigations
Set up in timekeeping and payroll systems
Employment Verification; E-Verify
Act as point of contact after start date and provide timekeeping instructions and onboarding docs
Maintains employee handbook and processes updates as needed
Responsible for documenting and monitor of HR compliance standards (EEOC, Vets 100, etc)
Review policies and procedures with employees as needed
Maintains employee personnel files, and updates information as needed
Manages on-going performance of policies and procedures for recruitment, interviewing and selection of prospective employees
Processes internal job announcements and related procedures (web, social, etc.)
Maintains a system and database for tracking employees throughout the corporation
Works in conjunction with management regarding evaluation procedures.
Benefits Administration
Acts as Benefits Administrator for employee health, dental, disability and 401K plans.
Track eligibility dates and send packets to enroll employees on plans.
Track waiver forms if employee opts not to enroll.
Assist in payroll processing and maintain employee payroll to include updating records as needed
Manage timekeeping process (weekly time reporting and reconciliation)
Basic bookkeeping functions to include entry of AR, AP, and GL
Office administration

The Human Resources / Operations Assistant must have the following skills:

The Human Resources / Operations Assistant must meet the following qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree.
Prior diversified business and/or educational experience in Human Resources Administration. Prior related office, financial and benefits experience helpful.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
