$90K - $114K a year Under the direct supervision of the Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending in Eastern MA, the Commercial Portfolio Manager is responsible for gathering financial and general business information pertaining to existing customer and potential customer loan requests.
This position also supports the Commercial Lending team and recommends credit solutions that add value to the customer relationship.
Primary
Responsibilities:
The job performance of the Commercial Portfolio Manager includes the following, and other/related duties as assigned.
Interview and evaluate new and/or existing loan relationships based upon due diligence including but not limited to credit history and loan repayment capabilities.
Gathers financial and general business information pertaining to customer and prospect loan requests.
Responsible for creating and maintaining credit and legal files, including logging financial statements and approvals; Works with Commercial Loan Assistant in regards to documentation exceptions or corrections post-closing Assists with the preparation for and during internal and external audits Assists Commercial Lending Administrative staff and Loan Officer insuring that all terms and conditions of approval are documented properly and collateral positions are in place.
Monitors loan maturities and works with the credit department to complete renewals, adjustments annual reviews according to Commercial Credit policy.
Assist with Loan Officers administrative duties.
Participates and represents the Bank at Chamber Meetings, Business Development Programs and other Community Events as necessary.
Attends periodic officer and loan committee meetings, as required.
Maintains compliance with all related bank policies, including Bank Secrecy Act, confidentiality, standardized procedures and regulations.
Works on larger, more complex deals, mainly focused on Middle Market.
May manage and/or lead as well as create, develop and introduce commercial and credit-related initiatives.
Acts as a consultant to business lines regarding credit issues, processes and procedures.
Functions as a resource for business lines and works with senior management on various issues; managing expectations and negotiating timelines.
Partners with Lending/Credit Officers to address exceptions identified by internal/external auditors and/or examiners.
Performs periodic inspections at customer sites to audit accounts and ensure adherence to loan agreements and terms.
Takes appropriate action as necessary to correct deficiencies.
Coordinates with Commercial Lenders to perform routine financial analyses and credit investigations.
May communicate credit decisions to Commercial Lenders after consultation & agreement obtained from the Senior Commercial Lender.
Manages and oversees workflow and adherence to policy for Senior Commercial Lender.
Participates in organizational cost benefit analysis and implementation.
Manages activities by creating and maintaining quantifiable service level standards against business performance.
Ensures timeliness of information and efficiency in process and workflow.
Maintains confidentiality of credit and customer information at all times.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Type:
Full-time.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
